The port of data and updating of it from the tempsite, over to the joomla CMS has been a touch rocky and took about 15 days on and off.. Dont tease, it's because I'm new to doing things in such a front-end/back-end way with databases. My style has always been CSS and html in dreamweaver then upload Im getting the hang of it, and things seem further in order now, I also understand the benefits but as with everything the claim that something is "simple" is always professed by those who are life coders and such, so of course implementing Joomla sites will seem easy to them.
The decision to go with joomla is because I can update on the fly and also have a massive collection of cool modules to slowly implement and then we can achieve several website "phases" in co-ordination with the facelift of template to gradually something more professional and what I have in mind (also the forums)
I hope you guys like it, very soon im going to find a module to have a login protocol connected to the forum. So you indeed register to the forum on the site itself, and can participate in member only site polls etc.
